The Regional Sales Manager is a critical leadership role, focused on the development and management of a regional sales team, driving exceptional performance, and promoting and selling ResMed products within the assigned region. They will coach and mentor team members in the marketing and utilization of ResMed products and solutions to healthcare providers (HCPs), diagnostic channels and homecare companies.  The individual must be a decisive, flexible, and a resourceful leader that exhibits a strong commitment to quality, accountability, leadership, and personal integrity. Strong communication, collaboration, and the ability to influence others will be extremely important for the success of this position.

This role will cover a region that includes North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.

Let’s talk about the role

  • Lead a high-impact sales team to drive successful execution of patient flow through the diagnostic and therapeutic channels that generate sales growth of ResMed products and solutions.
  • People Leadership - Rode model a “one team” and “best for ResMed” mindset understanding all aspects of what drives ResMed’s growth
  • Lead and develop a team of talented people in line with ResMed’s performance and development philosophy through acquisition, development, and mobilization of talent
  • Assist in the development of sales strategy in support of overall corporate goals.
  • Build a growth-mindset culture and engage with team members to identify individual and team development opportunities.
  • Drive team performance through effective coaching, feedback, engagement and staffing strategies. Investigating and resolving customer issues & inquiries.
  • Productive contributions at meetings and during relevant initiatives.
  • Representing ResMed at trade shows and other events as needed.
  • Travel 40% within region

Let’s talk about you

  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts (B.S. or B.A) or equivalent; five years + related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in medical sales or equivalent. In addition to 3 years’ experience leading a high performing sales team
  • Ability to demonstrate Strong Communication (verbal & written), Leadership, and Collaboration Skills
  • Proven ability to coach and motivate others to help them succeed
  • Strong ability to hire, develop and retain key talent
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of company policy, goals, and standards

  • Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
  • This role is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan with a target of $81,000 annually.
  • At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current base range for this position is:
  • 156,000.00 - 234,000.00
