Regional Head of Marketing & Sales Americas & Australia (Remote)
We are looking for a Remote Regional Head of Marketing & Sales Americas & Australia to join our Agricultural Solutions team based in US.

As the Regional Head of Marketing & Sales you will be responsible and accountable for the Profit and Loss (P&L) of the Region. In addition, you will lead and manage the sales, marketing and Product Development (PD) activities in the America region, in line with global Marketing & Sales (M&S) strategy and policy, maximizing the business performance with a strong customer focus. Expect to travel up to 50% of the time, including domestic and international trips within your assigned region, to build and maintain relationships with clients and your team members.

- Executing business results for the region and maximizing product value capture in the market.
- Embedding Product Development within the M&S American organization to ensure alignment with regional and crop strategy for customer demand.
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive M&S strategy for the region, focusing on product assortment, people, and processes for the next 1 to 5 years.
- Collecting and analyzing customer feedback regarding portfolio needs and market trends to inform the annual strategic review cycle.
- Coaching Regional Managers in talent management, employee development, and performance appraisal to build a high-performing organization.
- Implementing Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment (QHSE) requirements to ensure a safe work environment while attracting and developing talent to build strong, cohesive teams.
If you...
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Agriculture (Master’s degree preferred).
- Possess 15+ years of experience in agriculture (vegetables seeds) sales and marketing.
- Have 5+ years of experience managing large international and intercultural teams. (preferred).
- Have 5+ years in a leading position, as area sales manager or country manager, ideally in US-Canada.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of the region’s business culture and diverse cultures, preferably with experience in a multinational company.
- Exhibit advanced leadership and management skills, showcasing a sales-oriented and results-driven approach, along with strong communication abilities.
- Maintain a high level of fluency in English.

Pay transparency
BASF is committed to pay transparency practices. The competitive Pay Range for this role is $200,000 - $228,000. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
