Regional F&I Manager

Zurich North America is hiring an Regional F&I Manager to join our team! We are open to hiring talent in one of the following remote locations: Virtual Illinois, Virtual Minnesota Virtual Wisconsin, or Minneapolis.

 

In this role you will be responsible for:

 

  • Assist and direct the sales staff in the sale and distribution of products and services to achieve and sustain profitable growth related to a book of business (i.e. writing new business, retaining existing accounts, providing quality service, increasing market share and product mix while operating within company guidelines).
  • Selects, trains, develops, and coaches sales staff, assesses performance and provides recommendations to regional sales managers on other human resource issues (i.e., salary administration and performance issues.
  • Provides specialized training and coaching to customers and company personnel on products and services.
  • Produces and analyzes reports related to company´s and customers´ book of business and makes recommendations for improvements to sales managers, sales staff executives, Home Office staff and customers on a monthly basis.
  • Manage relationship with key customer/area of responsibility.
  • Develop or enable the development of new and expanding business opportunities.
  • As needs arise, use network of contacts with specialized expertise.
  • Identify opportunities and risks associated with changes in the external environment, looking forward 1 -2 years.
  • Design, recommend and implement changes to processes, systems.
  • Develop and implement annual budget for area of responsibility.
  • Set and execute operational objectives and plans aligned to the strategy of the Shared Services Unit/Strategic Business Unit.
  • Ensure that appropriate documentation, implementation and communication of established policy, procedures and operating standards is completed for area of responsibility.

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelors Degree and 4 or more years of experience in the Field Sales area
    OR
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more years of experience in the Field Sales area
    AND
  • Knowledge of principles, techniques and terminology of claims
  • Experience managing product knowledge of legal and regulatory environment within area of responsibility
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Experience analyzing financial results
  • Licensed to sell insurance products in area to be assigned

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • In-depth knowledge of principles of sales, sales techniques, and sales terminology
  • Advanced knowledge of F & I underwriting principles/techniques
  • Advanced knowledge of F & I business offerings plus basic knowledge of Zurich products
  • Advanced understanding of insurance and reinsurance principles
  • Effective training and training delivery experience
  • Management experience, including planning, budgeting, coaching, interviewing/selection, & performance management
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Experience working in a team environment

 

At Zurich, compensation for roles is influenced by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Additional rewards may encompass short-term incentive bonuses and merit increases. We encourage candidates with salary expectations beyond the provided range to apply, as they will be considered based on their experience, skills, and education. The salary indicated represents a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for geographic differentials pertaining to the location where the position may be filled. The proposed salary range for this position is $85,500.00 - $115,000.00. This position includes a variable compensation component that is based on an individual’s performance under the applicable sales incentive plan.
