We are seeking a senior leader to join our Marsh Specialties team as the US Regional Construction Practice Leader. This role will be based in New York. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The Regional Construction Practice Leader will be responsible for driving the growth and development of Marsh's construction practice within the designated region. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the construction industry, strong leadership skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in risk management, insurance brokerage, and business development within the construction sector.

We will count on you to:

  • Drive the growth of Marsh's construction practice by creating and executing innovative business plans that integrate construction expertise across the organization.
  • Promote a client-focused culture, ensuring exceptional service and exceeding client expectations while leveraging the full range of MMC resources for optimal client solutions.
  • Actively develop talent within the team, fostering an inclusive environment and supporting career development initiatives to build a strong leadership pipeline
  • Build business plans that push boundaries and capitalize on growth opportunities by integrating Construction expertise across the practice.
  • Determine operational and financial objectives in order to grow the business and contribute to company's top and bottom lines.
  • Implement and monitor short- and long-term organizational goals and objectives to ensure alignment with broader organizational strategies.

What you need to have:

  • Over 15 years of industry experience with a proven record of successful collaboration in a matrix team environment.
  • A valid Property and Casualty (P&C) license, or the ability to obtain one.
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not mandatory.

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $183,300 to $443,500.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
