FTE: 1.0, Shift: Days, Schedule: Mon-Friday 830-5p- Weekend shift possible if desired
Position Summary
The Referral Coordinator is an ideal opportunity responsible for administrative requirements for patient referrals, participating providers and patient health plans. As an intermediate level office resource, your ability to interpret medical guidelines, benefits, policies and procedures, will ensure the efficient operations of patient health care services.Responsibilities
- You will expedite administrative requirements and logistics
- You will serve as a resource on referrals and insurance plan guidelines
- You will apply discretion, good judgment, and professional communication to all work experiences
- You will regularly utilize your independent decision-making capacities and strong interpersonal skills
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Two (2) years of experience working in a medical setting or insurance company
- Experience in managed care desired
- Experience with CPT and ICD coding, preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $21.25 - $30.59 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
