About the Role:

Jackpot is seeking a Recruiting and Experience Specialist to help us identify, attract, engage, and hire top-quality talent for roles of all levels. This is a full-time, exempt role reporting to our Sr. People Operations Manager, and will be fully remote. This is the perfect opportunity if you are passionate about recruiting and providing an exceptional candidate experience, as well as growing your career at a start-up. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage and drive the full recruitment cycle by partnering with hiring managers to deeply understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to recruiting and retention
  • Be the owner of our applicant tracking system, Greenhouse, and contribute to building processes, infrastructure, and improvements
  • Commit to giving each of our candidates the best possible experience by providing excellent communication and speed through the pipeline
  • Lead our employer branding effort by encouraging team member reviews on Greenhouse and Comparably and seeking out participation in various cultural awards 
  • Post jobs on appropriate job boards such as LinkedIn, Indeed, university career pages, and DEI websites 
  • Conduct trainings, such as interviewing or anti-bias training, to team members as needed 
  • Use data and insights to make recommendations on how we can make better hiring decisions 
  • Assist with other efforts on the People team as needed such as onboarding, offboarding, employee experience etc. 

You Ideally Have:

  • 3+ years of recruiting experience ideally within a high-growth start-up 
  • Strong sense of urgency, prioritization, and excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in recruiting software, job boards, resume databases, and LinkedIn  
  • Experience with sourcing passive talent, with a resourceful and creative approach
  • Positive customer service attitude with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, with a preference for experience with Greenhouse 
  • Knowledge of recruiting laws and best practices

  • $80,000-$95,000 base salary + bonus
