Recruiter

Houzz is seeking a Recruiter to proactively identify, engage and hire talent for our Revenue and G&A organization(s). As a member of the Talent Acquisition team, the Recruiter will partner with hiring managers to develop creative sourcing and closing strategies to find the best talent for a variety of roles across our business. We are looking for someone who can work independently across multiple teams and hiring managers while working collaboratively with their talent acquisition teammates to deliver the best hiring outcomes based on business needs.
What You’ll Do
- Own the full-cycle recruiting responsibility in partnership with hiring managers/leaders
- Source, engage, and recruit passive talent by researching, creating, and executing creative sourcing strategies
- Actively and meticulously manage inbound candidate pipeline with strong attention to detail, communication, and follow-through
- Screen and qualify prospective candidates across multiple positions
- Track leads/candidates and maintain data integrity within our ATS (Lever)
- Build strong relationships with hiring manager teams to create deliverables, timelines and tracking processes with measurable metrics
- Handle candidate offer and close managing candidate expectations throughout the hiring process
- Represent Houzz as a brand ambassador by providing an exceptional candidate experience
- Proactively engage and collaborate with recruiting teammates on projects and new initiatives
- Brainstorm innovative sourcing/recruiting strategies and roll out to others on the team
- Develop a good understanding of the recruiting process and drive/recommend improvements
- Ad hoc responsibilities as needed
At a Minimum, We’d Like You to Have
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of high-volume recruiting experience (Sales Recruiting a plus)
- Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions with varying requirements and hiring timelines
- Experience using an ATS to source, track and manage candidates (Lever preferred but not required)
- Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques, including recruiting on various platforms and crafting Boolean search strings
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Proven organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and a sense of personal accountability
- An ability to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
Ideally, You’ll Also Have
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional partners
- Experience recruiting for other parts of a business such as Product & Technology
- Experience using data to drive business decisions
This role has an annual starting salary range of $70,000-$80,000. In addition to salary, you’re eligible for competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Houzz. Also, depending on the role, you could be eligible for an equity award. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, including, but not limited to, skills, experience, and specific work location.
