Overview
As a member of the Recovery Workforce Team within Yield Management, this workforce operates as an internal consulting team in collaboration with our greater Recovery Operations segment to assist with identifying and addressing departmental gaps, solutions for driving results and analyzes overall workflow management within existing policies. This department will play a key part in the review and implementation of new client prospects for Recovery Resolution/Quality as well as define and drive strategic, operational, and organizational improvements across the greater Recovery Operations space. As a Recovery Workforce Specialist, this role, will require an intellectual curiousness, quick adaptability, comfortability with ambiguity as well as independent work, and have a strategical analysis to approaching workflow management under the supervision of the Team Lead. Additionally, a Recovery Workforce Specialist requires confidence in communication of interpreted data to recommend solutions for business obstacles of minimum to reasonable scope to help drive the greater Recovery Operations team forward.
Responsibilities
- With direction from the Team Lead, the Recovery Workforce Specialist will assist in collaborating with People Leader’s in answering moderate questions for workflow management.
- Understand the workings of the greater Recovery Operations team to gather and interpret data to accomplish business goals and directives.
- Ability to prioritize work projects and requests with a sense of urgency for delivery of optimal results.
- Work both in collaboration and independently on process flows and workforce management.
- Serve as an active participant in cross-functional planning cycles linking our strategy to operating and financial metrics. Works with clients, customers, and partners to accurately assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve problems, or satisfy requirements.
- Can be counted on to consistently meet or exceed goals and perform at expected levels. Demonstrates willingness and readiness to take on more responsibility.
- Demonstrates ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks and ensure timely completion. Uses a structured and dependable approach to accomplish work assignments.
- Shows initiative and a willingness to engage in all audit support activities. Reaches beyond current tasks to add value to broader team. Goes the extra step to solve problems instead of waiting for someone else to solve them.
- Demonstrates competency with tools of the job including but not limited to filing systems, computers, word processing & spreadsheet applications, web systems, Cotiviti and Client systems, data file structures and Power Point. Can efficiently download and format common file types.
- Quickly grasps a working understanding of basic elements and concepts of Recovery Resolutions’ Operations. Demonstrates enthusiasm for learning and applying knowledge to the completion of tasks. Successfully integrates and executes new assignments with moderate guidance and direction.
- Achieves the expected level of quality set by the department. Verifies completeness and accuracy of work. Alerts manager of issues or concerns impacting quality of work.
- Demonstrates understanding of Cotiviti policies & procedures, and external regulatory requirements and performs duties in accordance with such regulatory requirements. Assures confidentiality and security of all data, adhering to all HIPAA laws and requirements. Demonstrates the skills, knowledge, and ability to ensure that our environment is a safe one, complying with industry standards.

Qualifications
- High School or GED/equivalent
- 1-2 years’ experience in operational excellence/process improvement and/or Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience presenting and analyzing large quantities of data with strong spreadsheet and database query experience (e.g., Access).
- Comfort working in fast-paced environment.
- Moderate experience in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Database management experience (preferred).
- Extremely well-organized and capable of handling multiple projects and ad-hoc requests simultaneously Experience in healthcare and/or Software industries (a plus).

Base compensation ranges from $17 per hour to $20 per hour. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
