Reconciliation & Project Assistant

We’re looking for a Reconciliation & Project Assistant to join us in fulfilling our mission, while utilizing our values of excellence, improvement, and connection. In this role, you will be responsible for processing premium adjustments and reconciliation of sub-ledger accounts in lender services. Also, the incumbent will assist with projects as needed. The position requires the candidate to interact extensively with internal and external customers on refunds, adjustments, and bank account matters. The incumbent must possess accounts receivable/accounting background along with extensive related work experience. The candidate must be able to work in a dynamic environment and be a self-starter. Further, the incumbent will assist with the current modernization project that is currently in flight. Strong written and oral communication skills, self-motivation, attention to detail, and the ability to perform work under pressure of time constraints are required. Periodic overtime will be required.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Research, validate and process requested adjustments to payments applied abiding by the policies and procedures set by management.
Proactively assist and lead cleanup initiatives as needed.
Manage billing reconciliation daily and monthly.
Assist with SOX requests as needed.
Ability to complete assigned JIRAS and testing.
Manage email correspondence and assign emails to team members as needed.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Required 10,000 keystrokes per hour or 45 WPM
Must have strong skill set in the basic functions within Microsoft Excel, Word and Access
Must be able to work on JIRAs related to LSM and assist with testing
Must be flexible and demonstrate the ability to adapt to new reassignments as directed
Ability to approach service and resolution through the eyes of the customer while finding the appropriate balance between customer and business needs
Ability to function effectively as part of a team, motivating and assisting others as needed
Be able to work in a fast paced and diverse work environment
Ability to remain flexible in a changing environment
Ability to provide insight to the team in improving processes and increase effectiveness

ADDITIONAL
The base salary pay range for this role starts at a minimum rate of $52,300 up to the maximum of $83,700. In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible to participate in an incentive plan. The incentive plan is based on performance and the target earning opportunity is 7% of your base compensation. The final determination on base pay for this position will be based on multiple factors at the time of this job posting including but not limited to geographic location, experience, and qualifications to ensure pay equity within the organization.
