Test Engineer Senior

Our work depends on Test Engineer Senior joining our team to perform automated testing on a large Java development project working in a 100% remote environment. In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with our product team to support and meet testing requirements
  • Test products and software to identify potential problems and ensure product and data quality.
  • Create, develop, and execute automated tests for products and software
  • Partner with developers to determine testing parameters and create practical test demos
  • Troubleshoot any testing errors and streamline testing procedures
  • Prepare reports and analysis for testing
  • Provide database support running queries validating data quality
  • Maintain current knowledge of technology and best practices relevant to the industry.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience

Required Technical Skills:

  • 5+ years of testing and database support in Oracle with the ReadyAPI automation tool performing backend testing
  • Experience automating API testing using Java/ Groovy scripting concepts to parse xml/Json responses
  • Expertise on testing and automating Web Services using data driven/hybrid frameworks

Clearance Level: Public Trust
Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate and troubleshoot with a team that works 100% remotely
  • Be online and responsive to the team and client using email/TEAMS chat during business hours

Preferred Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with CICD pipelines and configuring test builds in GITLab.

The likely salary range for this position is $97,750 - $132,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
