Job Description SummaryClinical Transformation/Workflow Consultant (CTC) responsibilities include pre-sales clinical assessments, current state/future state workflow assessments, KPI identification and tracking, initial system configurations based on recommended workflow, data loads, clinical workflow testing, and go live support. In addition, this role will design and lead the overall customer clinical engagement plan. The CTC will be responsible for aspects of the clinical plan including effort and budget. The CTC will also lead post go live customer engagements to assess customer adoption and uncover areas where the CTC can impact customer satisfaction.

Uses deep knowledge of clinical and operational workflows and product functionalities to provide guidance and recommendations to customers throughout the implementation to ensure maximum productivity, satisfaction and adoptability for the customer.

Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

  • Conducts pre-sales assessments as needed to support the sales and pre-sales team to understand customer objectives earlier in the sales process and to highlight areas of opportunity with the customer.  Assist internal sales team in the determination of product and hardware requirements for quoting purposes.

  • As a member of the services implementation team will participate in pre-sales to clearly identify/state customer goals, champions and stakeholders, KPIs, prioritize project goals and set expectations with customers.

  • Primary clinical leader designing and executing clinical plan on behalf of the project team.

  • Understand and track all project metrics including effort and financials according to clinical plan.

  • Conduct, document and review current workflow and provide future state design with customers, leveraging deep clinical workflow understanding of customer environment to recommend best practices. 

  • Provide consultative leadership for implementation team. Includes responsibilities such as: interviews, analysis, surveys, strategic direction, implementation procedures, post go live analysis.

  • Work with customers and GE resources throughout the project life cycle, conduct ongoing assessment and evaluation of pre-determined success factors.

  • Identify opportunities for GE to partner with clients across clinical, financial, and operational platforms.

  • Collect and upload configuration files.  This may include gathering and documenting required information and data from customer and internal project resources.

  • Apply and utilize change management practices throughout the project.

  • Identify test plans for customer needs.  Recommend test scripts, customize with customer.

  • Perform initial configuration of application and system testing before turning over to the customer.

  • As a vital member of the implementation team, mentor and guide customers, collaborate with GE resources, to prepare for successful activation.  Ensure the customer can effectively use the product to maximize their productivity and long-term success.

  • Assist customers in the understanding of the products purchased and how they are used in their daily workflow.

  • Assist with training Physicians, Technologists and Imaging Systems Administrators in the use of their product during the implementation phase as well as during the Pre and Go live events.

  • Maintain communication with customer and other team members to ensure deliverables and desired outcomes are on track and expectations are clear. Facilitate answers to technical and clinical customer questions, identify resources to assist as needed. 

  • Aid in the development of an online knowledge database for team members that is easy to use

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Associate Degree and/or 7+ years as a Registered Radiologic Technologist, or Cardiovascular Technologist.

  • 3+ years’ experience in radiology/cardiology imaging clinical workflow experience.

  • Experience with hardware and system interconnectivity – including VMs and cloud-based software.

  • Must be willing to travel 50-70% across US and potentially Canada.

Desired Characteristics

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, executive presence, ability to take technical data and effectively communicate and tailor the message based on customer audience.

  • Experience with integration standards:  HL7, SQL DICOM, IHE profiles.

  • Strong skills using Microsoft VISIO, Project and Office Professional components.

  • Exposure and experience providing consultative solutions to customers. That includes departmental IT workflow for Hospital and Clinics.

  • Proven ability to effectively consult with customers to help them understand and adopt recommended/best practice workflows.

  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of clinical and technical customers resources.

  • Knowledge of PACS/VNA/CARD and Information System implementation methodology and ability to translate this in support of a successful implementation. 

  • Radiology/Cardiology Imaging experience and strong understanding of related departmental and enterprise image/clinical workflow and utilization.

  • Change management experience preferred.

  • Training experience preferred.

  • Consulting experience preferred.

  • Works independently, self-motivated.

  • Demonstrated resiliency and experience managing difficult challenging conversations.  

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $107,120.00-$160,680.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
