We are searching for a Quality Technician to join our team. This person will be responsible for repairing dealer/customer returns in a prompt and efficient manner while maintaining the high-quality standards of the Fender brands throughout the repair process.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for service center repairs of PL10, Specialty and Specialty Custom Shop Corona Guitars This includes diagnosis and performing repairs that may be simple cosmetic to complex assembly repairs and tuning, testing and then repacking for shipment.
  • Provide support for the repair of returned guitars produced in the Ensenada plant as required.
  • Responsible for ensuring Repair inventory is always accurately accounted for and segregated from Final’s inventory  (A and B stocks)
  • Utilize Email/SAP to document the repairs process and request parts, print labels.
  • Provide weekly reports of the repairs performed to the area manager.
  • Welcoming of frequent change and performing other essential duties in and around Final Assembly of guitars as assigned.
  • Support special repair projects as required.
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Soldering skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Familiarity with Fender products and quality standards
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, SAP)
  • Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams
