Job Description:
Softrams is looking for a Healthcare Quality Measures Subject Matter Expert with excellent knowledge of the Quality Measures utilized at the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). This resource will support one or more CMS program efforts at Softrams. The ideal candidate needs to be an expert in CMS Medicare and Medicaid policies and data. This is a full-time W-2 opportunity.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare management and policy or related field.
  • Working knowledge of CMS’ National Quality Strategy and the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA).
  • Demonstrated understanding of the use of quality measures CMS across various programs (e.g., MIPS, Alternative Payment Model Performance Pathway APP).
  • Demonstrated and detailed knowledge of the development, reporting, and use of quality measures at CMS.
  • 5+ years of experience working with CMS quality measures
  • 7+ years working as a business analyst, SME, or similar role
  • Must have lived in the United States for at least 3 years in the last 5.
  • Must be able to obtain a public trust clearance.
  • Must reside in and be able to perform work in the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates business processes and operations pertaining to the use of CMS quality measures by implementing subject expertise, identifies problem areas, and provides relevant business solutions to improve performance.
  • Offers guidance and required knowledge on quality reporting and value-based payment programs to product teams during the software development life cycle.
  • Works with teams in the implications for management systems of CMS quality measure programs and reporting, especially related to Alternative Payment Models.
  • Advises on the impact of regulatory changes to CMS quality measures and associated programs.
  • Contributes to specialized knowledge and provides mentorship and training to teams as it pertains to CMS quality measure programs.
  • Verifies business and technical information, including the training manuals, user guides, and system requirements.
  • Publicizes important information and documents processes to stakeholders.
