SUMMARY 

For CNS Cares, LLC (“CNS”), this position is responsible for assisting with the quality activities of CNS and its sister companies as well as has accountability for the monitoring, implementation, and evaluation of processes and programs to meet regulatory compliance and standards of practice. Additionally, this role is responsible for integrating the practice of nursing with computer science and information science to best manage and communicate data and knowledge

 
 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: 

Employee must have regular attendance/punctuality, be able to work with others at all levels of the Company, have exceptional customer service, and be completely honest. Other assigned duties include:

1. Assists with the implementation and monitoring of the organization’s quality assurance program.

2. Monitors quality and appropriateness of services and products.

3. Evaluates the effectiveness and outcomes of patient care.

4. Performs routine OASIS chart reviews and audits.

5. Maintain current knowledge of CMS/ Medicare Conditions of Participation.

6. Educates staff about any clinical documentation issues found, home health statutes and administrative rules/regulations, as needed.

7. Participates with other health, civic, education and professional groups as directed. 

8. Participates in planning, development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of the clinical application systems. This may include but not limited to, data collection, documentation, or optimization of processes.

9. Facilitates or consults CNS Leadership as needed and to communicate and facilitate the on-going process of development, implementation, and revision of clinical systems.

10. Maintains a detailed understanding and working knowledge of current nursing and other clinical systems, functions, and relationships as they relate/interface with other technologies within the enterprise technologies and affected work processes. 

11. Coordinates with appropriate Clinical Leadership/Managers to incorporate their knowledge of clinical practice as it relates to operational impact and clinical workflows that are consistent with professional standards of clinical practice and patient care processes. 

12. Other duties as assigned.

 
 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and /or ability required. 


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 


Required:· 

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Registered Nurse license to practice professional nursing in the State in which the employee resides· 
  • Two (2) or more years of clinical nursing experience required, preferably in Home Health setting.
  • One (1) or more years of experience performing OASIS Quality Assurance (QA)/ Quality Improvement (QI)/ Quality Management (QM)
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States (US)


Preferred:

  • Strong customer service skills preferred

Must be able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public. Must be able to accurately and clearly provide guidance and direction to Company staff and employees.
