Description
Join our QA team where your primary focus will be testing mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms. Your mission will be to design, develop, and execute automated tests for mobile and web UI and API layers using tools like Appium and Selenium. You'll ensure our mobile apps are stable, bug-free, and perform seamlessly on various devices. Responsibilities
- Working with the existing QA and development team members, deliver a comprehensive test strategy for an industry leading SaaS application
- Ensure that test activities are consistent with test plans across a diverse and distributed set of development teams
- Collaborate with the Product and Development teams to create user stories, define acceptance criteria, and build test plans
- Design, develop, and execute test plans for mobile application testing
- Review mobile device compatibility and report any potential issues to stakeholders
- Maintain existing tests and write manual and automated tests while features are being developed
- Analyze the root cause for testing failures and open appropriate tickets with sufficient findings
- Integrate test automation into the CI/CD pipeline and increase the organization's speed to market
- Manually test mobile application components where automation is not a good fit
- Make recommendations on how our current testing processes can be improved
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in an Agile, highly collaborative, team-based environment
- 3+ years of experience in mobile application testing, including both manual and automated testing
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred)
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns
- Solid knowledge of mobile application technologies, including iOS and Android operating systems
- Proficiency in mobile application testing best practices, tools, and resources
- Familiarity with software development languages such as C#, Java, and JavaScript
