Leidos is seeking a mid-level Quality Assurance Engineer to support the Gibbs & Cox Division (G&C) of the Leidos Defense Sector in the (6) ISO 9001 certified facilities. The ISO scope of the business activities at these facilities includes: Design, Engineering, and Program Management. All (6) ISO certified facilities (sites) support all programs, projects and tasks within the G&C matrixed organization.

Primary Responsibility
Conducts Quality Inspections on products that are contract deliverables in accordance with company policy, in a timely manner, to support the schedule maintained by the Design Control Group, in their posting of contract deliverables.
Conduct quality inspections of project deliverables and support performance verification testing, when/if required. Collect and report key process indicator measurements and progress toward meeting the quality objective of On-Time Deliverables.
Additional Responsibilities
Support and or conduct timely quality audits to the Tailored Process Baselines (TPB) for In-Scope programs, in adherence with the program audit schedules and in compliance with Leidos policies and direction, report audit results to program leadership.
Generate corrective action requests for your audit findings and maintain the Common Audit Database (CAD) with timely updates/closures of audit findings.
Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
BS degree and 4-8 years of experience or MSc degree with 2-6 years of experience with quality management systems in shipbuilding design
Experience working with the following tools: SharePoint, MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Good verbal and written skills
