Job Description Summary

The Quality and Compliance Manager is responsible for developing and governing platform driven programs that include, Inspection Programs, Fire Life Safety (FLS) Audits, and Facility Maintenance Optimization. This position focuses on ensuring rigorous compliance with all applicable teams, driving continuous improvement through data analysis, program evaluation, and optimizing facility performance. The role involves managing program implementation, analyzing FLS and facility performance metrics, developing innovative solutions, and fostering strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve enhanced safety, efficiency, and overall compliance.

Job Description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide governance and maintain comprehensive inspection programs tailored to facility infrastructure, equipment, and safety systems
  • Lead the innovation of inspection methodologies, including the integration of new technologies 
  • Analyze inspection data to identify trends, predict potential failures, and optimize maintenance schedules
  • Conduct regular audits of inspection programs to ensure effectiveness and compliance and work with inspection teams to develop and implement training programs
  • Conduct regular FLS program audits to identify and mitigate potential violations
  • Manage and maintain FLS documentation, including inspection reports, permits, and training records
  • Collaborate with the Business Development Response Plan Team during weather and disaster related events
  • Develop and implement solutions to improve facility efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance sustainability
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and strategies for facility optimization
  • Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to implement projects
  • Monitor and track the performance of optimization initiatives and report on results
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inspection programs, FLS, and facility optimization
  • Generate regular reports on inspection results, FLS compliance, and facility performance for management review
  • Utilize data analysis to identify root causes of issues and develop corrective and preventive actions
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization, with a focus on inspection, FLS, and facility operations
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and problem-solving activities related to facility and inspection issues
  • Includes additional program duties related to processes in development

Requirements

  • 2 - 3+ years of experience in a related occupation
  • Willingness to travel – Up to 25%
  • Proficient in Office, Word, Excel, and Smartsheet programs
  • Knowledge of Quality Engineering techniques, CMMS systems, and Quality Management Systems
  • General comprehension related to mechanical systems
  • Strong commitment to quality assurance and customer service
  • Strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate to all levels of management 
  • Ability to quickly define problems, gather and assess relevant data and information, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions in order to implement solutions
  • Must be able to prepare and present detailed reports on building operations and systems. Must be able to write professional business correspondence and procedural manuals.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $76,500.00 - $90,000.00
