Quality Analyst Intern

Job Summary:

As a Quality Analyst Intern, you will be involved in all phases of software development, from requirements definition to production releases. You will be embedded in a cross-function team of analysts, developers, product managers, and testing staff, collectively striving to quickly deliver high-quality, high-value software. This contrasts to most other environments where the culture encourages “throwing the code over the wall” for QA to test. We work in an environment that encourages individual initiative, leadership at all levels, and team-based continuous improvement void of hierarchy and bureaucracy.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Developers, Testers, Quality Engineers, Business Analysts and Product SME’s to create and maintain application quality
- Create and execute test cases
- Attend and actively participate in all Agile ceremonies
- Creatively find ways to break an application
- Analyze test results and ensure it meets acceptance criteria
- Learn test management tools, such as Jira, Zephyr Scale, Confluence
- Understand and analyze quality assurance metrics
- Read and analyze business requirements, workflows and design documents
- Learn and perform integration, functional, backend and end to end system testing

Minimum Education and Experience:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in CIS/CSE/MIS
- Ability to thrive in a driven, passionate, creative, and collaborative environment.
- Enthusiastic self-starter capable of quickly taking ownership of features, applications, and systems
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to independently plan, prioritize work
- Ability to multi-task and drive results with a sense of urgency to meet aggressive project timelines
Salary Range:
$31,200.00 - $52,000.00*This range reflects base pay only. Incentive earnings, like commissions or bonuses, are not included.
