The selected candidates will coordinate all desktop quality assurance activities. In addition, they will assist with the development, documentation, and implementation of QA/QC programs, plans, and procedures. They will also conduct QA investigations of non­conforming program contractors, coordinate corrective actions, and maintain QA records using Sightline.

What you will be doing: 
In this position you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing the Quality Care and Quality Assurance efforts for energy efficient programs in New York State. Knowledge of energy efficient technologies and practices related to HVAC systems and overall residential building energy technologies or experience in the building trades is a plus. 

• Conducting desk review quality assurance/quality control of program partner reports 
• Liaising with subcontractors, stakeholders, and customer service representatives 
• Collaborating with team members to brainstorm ideas for process improvements 
• Developing and updating client reports and documents 
• Creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets, PDF forms and databases for internal tracking 
• Producing communications and other informative materials for subcontractors alongside changes to policies and procedures 
• Research on market trends and needs 
• Conducting field inspections; for custom projects and select utility projects 
• Other duties as required to support our work nationally and provide direct support to division leadership as needed 
• Must have a reliable vehicle for travel. Requirements are up to 5% of the time within upstate New York for post installation inspections (reimbursement for mileage provided)

 
What we need you to have (minimum qualifications): 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Energy, Building Science, Construction, Engineering or related discipline (or applicants can substitute one year of related experience for one year of education)
• 2+ years’ experience in energy efficiency, quality assurance, administration, data management and/or related fields   
• Must have valid driver’s license and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check
