Overview
As our QA Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing the QA team composed of various clients and HTTP APIs (Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android, AWS). This is a hands-on role that is responsible for ensuring the quality of software products, and improving the efficiency of the testing process. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manual and automated software testing principles and practices, as well as experience in leading and motivating a team.
Day to Day:
- Evaluate current automated testing coverage and identify areas for improvement
- Report on test coverage and results for each build
- Lead manual and automated QA teams in one or more locations (Eastern Europe, US, and India)
- Document test cases in TestRail and enforce a consistent format and organization
- Create and monitor manual test runs before every release
- Constantly reduce manual testing dependence through automation in CI/CD pipelines
- Stay in the loop around Point Wild product and platform changes
- Provide recorded demos of new automation functionality
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices
What you bring to the table:
- 8+ years of experience in software testing
- 5+ years of experience leading a QA team
- 3+ years using automated testing tools and techniques in at least two of web, Android, iOS, MacOS, or Windows clients
- Experience with Playwright or Cypress
- Experience with XCTest for MacOS, iOS Automation
- Experience Windows application test automation (FlaUI)
- Experience with test coverage analysis tools
- Proficiency in Git and version control workflows
- Able to work while overlapping with Eastern European time zone
It would be great if you also had:
- QA Leadership experience in a B2B SaaS tech organization
- Experience supporting AntiVirus and VPN products

Pay range for this position is $160,000 - $200,000, but may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location.
