YOUR MISSION

Software is the central nervous system for True Anomaly’s engineering and product thesis. Software bridges the gap between military objectives, theoretical astrodynamics and the human and autonomous control of spacecraft and ground systems in time and space. True Anomaly is seeking a highly qualified QA Engineer to ensure that Mosaic is performant, reliable and comprehensive software that meets the demands required for space operations. 

Aerospace or space experience not required. Our engineers draw on their varied and expert backgrounds to make Mosaic the optimal system for satellite and constellation management and operation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with engineering and product to test the functionality and performance of Mosaic 
  • Work across disciplines including Flight Software, Spacecraft Production, and Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) to validate end-to-end performance and reliability of both software and hardware at True Anomaly 
  • Execute and validate tactics and scenarios that exercise the full gamut of Mosaic functionality 
  • Push Mosaic to its limits and provide engineering insights gained from load testing and complex scenarios so that Mosaic can reach greater heights 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years of software test and QA experience 
  • Experience working with or adding to a testing framework 
  • Has experience with Chaos Engineering or would enjoy implementing Chaos Engineering practices  
  • Technical understanding of distributed systems 
  • Embraces a move fast but safely approach to software testing and development
