QA Engineer

Litify is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer  to join our team! As QA Engineer, your main focus will be to write and execute tests while also helping to triage bugs and plan testing for upcoming Litify product updates. The ideal candidate has the ability to function in an agile software development lifecycle, grow into a leadership position and will thrive in a hands-on, focused, productive and team-oriented environment.

You can be located anywhere in the United States. 

In this role, you will:

  • Report defects and provide suggestions for application enhancements
  • Demonstrate effective testing skills, and proficient knowledge in test planning and execution
  • Show good analytical skills and strong experience collaborating with development, product management and delivery teams throughout the SDLC
  • Communicate in an organized and effective manner with the ability to work independently, multitask and work on multiple projects
  • Partner with Customer Support team in triaging complex application issues

To be successful in this role, you have (required):

  • 2+ years of experience in a QA role - automation is strongly preferred
  • 2+ years of experience with Cypress or equivalent automation system (Selenium, Playwright, etc.)
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, highly collaborative, dynamic Agile/Scrum work environment
  • Proven experience in interacting and coordinating test activities amongst multiple teams in multiple locations
  • The ability to identify issues and communicate their priority and impact in a clear and concise way
  • Strong experience in building test plans for releases, determining risk assessment and impact for software applications and how to build those into a test plan
  • A willingness to collaborate and build knowledge within a QA team - sharing experience and knowledge to further objectives
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with peers across departments
  • An understanding of what it means to own “code quality” for a squad

Nice-to-have:

  • Familiarity and/or experience working with Salesforce
  • Proficiency with Salesforce debugging logs, bug tracking and test management toolsets to support development processes

Disclosure:
The estimated pay range for this role is $100,000. You may also be offered a bonus and benefits.
