Job SummaryPeopleFun is seeking an experienced QA analyst to test our growing portfolio of chart-topping games. Qualified candidates will have experience testing mobile apps and working with a cross-functional team, including engineers and artists.

Responsibilities

  • Develop test plans for new features according to design specifications
  • Provide estimates for testing effort timelines
  • Perform manual, functional, exploratory, ad-hoc, performance, regression, and analytic testing
  • Track issues and push them to resolution to meet deadlines
  • Coordinate across all departments involved in game-building to align on expectations
  • Coordinate with external testing groups
  • Keep documentation and Confluence pages up to date
  • Provide continuous feedback to the development team on the game from the end-user perspective

Requirements

  • 3+ years professional experience in games QA, including  mobile apps QA
  • Experience as a feature lead
  • Demonstrated experience with test plan development
  • Experience with Jira
  • Strong communication skills including careful listening and clear articulation
  • Positive attitude contributing to an inclusive culture

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional experience with SQL
  • Experience with Postman and Charles Proxy
  • Experience with testing analytics
  • Experience with automated testing
  • Experience with testing in Unity
PeopleFun provides a competitive total compensation package with a pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this [CA based or North America based] position is $60,000-$74,000. Base compensation at PeopleFun is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Depending on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and other benefits.
