Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.

The Purchasing Administrator will be responsible for procurement and procurement process compliance on a contract with multiple task orders. He/She will compile and analyze data from different formats to prepare the monthly and quarterly financial reports for the client

Our salary range for this position is based on the market data, $60k to $75k per annum (range varies depending on experience and qualifications).

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as Test Technology Division (TTD) procurement focal point.
  • Prepare purchase requisitions as directed, with complete, accurate, and compliant information.
  • Review and submit to Corporate Buyer complete purchase requisition packages, for processing in Buyer’s procurement module.
  • Ensure full compliance with Buyer’s purchasing procedures, including flowing any applicable Prime Contract flow-down clauses to sub-tier suppliers on the face of the purchase orders.
  • Disseminate information, and provide guidance, to TTD staff and end users regarding Buyer’s purchasing procedures and requirements.
  • Facilitate research required to ensure accurate account coding and ensure backup documentation is present in the compliance file.
  • Perform additional duties, as needed (e.g. prepare cost estimates for TTD Project Managers, ensure quality control of client invoices, inform the TTD Division Administrator of potential billing issues, etc.).

Qualifications to be successful in the role:

  • A degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 5 years of procurement experience.
  • Must be eligible to obtain Secret Clearance.
  • Sound knowledge of contracting legal issues and related resolution processes;
  • Extensive experience developing and implementing contracts and related compensation structures and performance management tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites; Inventory and ERP systems (e.g. SAP).
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, able to work independently, and flexible to meet changing requirements.
  • Can work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must lawfully reside in the United States and be eligible for employment (Planate does not sponsor visas or work permits)
