The Public Health Manager position serves as a critical member of the Disney Experiences Health Services team and is focused on improving health outcomes for our cast and crew population.  This position will be primarily responsible for overseeing public health and process improvement initiatives across Disney Experiences.  The public health manager will oversee and expand current public health initiatives and recommend and deploy future programming.  With a focus on quality, this position will deploy process improvement strategies across Health Services.  This role will be on-site with some remote opportunity.

What You Will Do (Responsibilities):  

  • Complete required public health documentation for communicable diseases, such as COVID, TB, and other diseases

  • Direct and deploy on-site vaccination clinics (e.g. flu, COVID, rabies, Hep A/B, etc)

  • Develop and maintain public health education resources for leaders and cast members

  • Develop and deploy public health programming across Disney Experiences

  • Lead/participate in Disney’s Health and Safety programs

  • Develops, recommends, and implements public health program policies and procedures

  • Evaluate Health Service programs and services for compliance and efficiency

  • Identify and deploy solutions for process and quality improvement

  • Provide contribution to health programs by participating in program planning, monitoring program progress, and doing data analysis

  • Support strategic initiatives for health

You Will Have: (Required Qualifications):

  • 3-5 years experience in a Public Health program, community health organization, or closely related field

  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong project management skills

  • Ability to work flexibly and meet deadlines

  • Willingness and ability to work in a team environment

  • Detail oriented

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Education

  • MPH, or related Master’s  

The hiring range for this position in CA or FL is $89,700.00-$120,200.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
