Reputable Community Healthcare Clinic seeks experienced Full or Part-time Psychiatrist - position may be remote with California license, prefer hybrid and/or onsite commutable distance to Healdsburg/Windsor, CA


The full or part-time Psychiatrist diagnoses and treats a variety of psychiatric disorders in an Outpatient FQHC setting.


Operating within the scope of specialty, some of the responsibilities will include the following:

  • Elicits and records information about patient's medical and psychological history.
  • Examines patient to determine general physical condition.
  • Orders or executes various tests, analyses, and diagnostic assessments to provide information on the patient's condition.
  • Analyzes reports and findings of tests of examination, and diagnoses condition.
  • Administers or prescribes treatments and drugs.
  • Refers patients to medical specialist or other practitioner for specialized medical treatment..
  • Adheres to health center standards for productivity as defined by the medical director and senior management.
  • Participates in quality improvement initiatives. Adheres to quality assurance guidelines and aids the health center in reaching its clinical quality goals. Adheres to nationally recognized health care standards.
  • Knows and follows clinic policies and procedures.


Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

Education:

Doctor of Psychiatry degree and completion of residency in specialty.  


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Current California Medical License
  • Board Certification

Other Skills and Abilities

Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.



Salary Description Starting at $364,270 year DOE at 1.0 FTE Apply
