The Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Provisioner to join our team in support of an ACAT II US Navy program. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of ICAPS (Integrated Computerized Automated Provisioning System) and MBSP (Model Based Product Support) databases, and have a proven track record of ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient provision of materials, equipment, and supplies. As a Provisioner, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating provisioning activities, supporting naval operations with supply chain management, and utilizing these systems to optimize resource availability.
Responsibilities:
• Provisioning Management: Review Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD)/Logistics Support Information (LSI) consisting of Vendor & System Drawings, Parts List, Vendor Catalog Cut Sheets, Develop new Allowance Parts Listings and Allowance Equipage Listings. Process data files for external sources. Research and analyze proposed Allowance Change Requests (ACRs) for impacts to logistics products. Generate standardized AD-HOC reports.
• ICAPS Expertise: Utilize ICAPS for managing inventories, tracking supplies, generating requisitions, and ensuring proper documentation of materials. MBSP knowledge a plus.
• Data Analysis: Perform regular system updates, data entry, and reporting to maintain accurate records of all provisioning activities.
• Documentation & Compliance: Ensure that all provisioning actions com ply with Navy regulations and standards and maintain proper records of all transactions.
• Problem-Solving: Address and resolve provisioning-related challenges, such as supply shortages, system discrepancies, or logistics issues.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with various Navy departments and contractors to ensure the seamless flow of supplies and equipment.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in military provisioning, logistics, or supply chain management, with a focus on the US Navy’s provisioning systems.
• Technical Expertise: Proficient in the use of ICAPS and knowledge MBSP provisioning systems.
• Knowledge of Naval Supply Procedures: Strong understanding of military supply operations, inventory management, and provisioning regulations.
• Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage large volumes of data with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent troubleshooting and analytical abilities to resolve provisioning issues in a timely manner.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of working in a collaborative team environment.
