Avesis is seeking an experienced Vision Provider Recruitment Manager to spearhead department projects, initiatives, and goals for our Vision Provider Recruitment team. The ideal candidate should possess a sense of urgency and the ability to collaborate with and support multiple teams, including the Vision Provider Relations team, customer service, account management, compliance, clinical, and reporting analysts. As a people manager of this team, you will lead all new Vision Provider Network builds for our government and commercial programs. You will also provide gap analysis for the vision/eye care markets and support provider/physician recruitment initiatives to address those gaps. Additionally, you will monitor network adequacy requirement changes/additions and oversee network adequacy process workflows with key departments. Fostering a collaborative environment between the provider recruitment team and other key Avesis departments is crucial for multiple large-scale initiatives across company. You will also partner closely with the Sr. Director of Provider Operations & Network Management to drive the overall performance and success of the team.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide leadership for and oversight of provider recruitment and network adequacy teams.
  • Ensure development of stable provider networks to facilitate broad member access for commercial, Medicaid and Medicare for vision plans.
  • Function as the first point of escalation for Recruitment and Network Adequacy.
