Benefitfocus is searching for an organized, strategic, and articulate Sales Proposal Manager to join our team. This role is focused on producing the company’s RFx responses across all business units and verticals (Employer, Health Plan, Channel, and Government & Education). The ideal candidate will have at least three years of relevant professional experience that includes, but is not limited to, proposal production, project coordination, and/or subject matter expertise with one or more Benefitfocus products. This is a 100% remote position - selected candidate must reside in the United States.

The Contributions You Will Make: 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to author, edit, and produce detailed Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information (RFI), and security questionnaire responses within required deadlines 

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously 

• Closely partner with Sales Executives, Solutions Engineers, Product, and Corporate Counsel to tailor RFx content based on deal win themes, technical scope, and compliance requirements 

• Run internal deal team meetings and presentations regarding each RFx’s schedule, strategy, and status 

• Support maintenance and updates of specialized RFP knowledgebase in designated technical areas (e.g., Cybersecurity, Service Centers, Enrollment, etc.) 

Minimum Knowledge & Experience:

• General software industry experience required 

• Project coordination experience required  

• Strong writing and copyediting skills required 

• Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required 

• Experience in the benefits administration software industry strongly preferred 

• Experience with Loopio, RFP360, or other RFx Knowledgebase software desired  

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:

• Bachelors Degree preferred

• Good working knowledge of the company's products and services

Compensation Pay Disclosure:

Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya may offer incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
