What You Will Do

As a Proposal Lead at our company, you will be pivotal in providing technical guidance and support. Your role involves assisting Application Engineers and Account Executives throughout the project design and proposal stages. Key responsibilities include:

• Validating project assumptions and creating detailed cost estimates.
• Crafting comprehensive customer proposals.
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Interpreting engineering drawings and adhering to standardized design procedures are also critical functions of this position.

How You Will Do It

• Provide detailed estimates and support for Account Executives, finalizing and presenting projects to clients.
• Mentor Application Engineers and Regional Project Engineers in Fire systems to uphold our quality standards.
• Develop customer proposals by conducting project take-offs, reviewing specifications, and generating specialized quotes.
• Ensure rapid response times through timely selections, specifications, and reviews of documents.
• Work closely with the POD Lead, customers, Sales team, Project Managers, and Subcontractors to manage project execution effectively.
• Interpret engineering drawings and ensure compliance with ISO-9001 standards.

What We Look For

• A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or another relevant technical field.
• Proficiency in both English and Dutch, French in plus (minimum B2 level).
• At least 2 years of professional experience with Fire systems.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team, paired with strong organizational skills and effective interpersonal communication.
• A proven track record of managing multiple projects with professionalism and persistence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Hands-on engineering experience.

• If you're considering a relocation to Bratislava to join Johnson Controls, you'll be eligible for a housing allowance to support your transition. Our starting salary package begins at 2100 EUR/month gross, with a regular monthly bonus following six months of employment.
