Job Description

In late January, we announced that Bridgefield Capital signed an agreement to acquire Philips’ Emergency Care business which includes leading brands and products like HeartStart AEDs, Intrepid and DFM100 monitor defibrillators, Tempus monitor and Tempus ALS systems, and Corsium and ECI informatics solutions. We expect the transaction to close at the end of 2025.

With Bridgefield’s support and building on our 40+ year legacy of growth and innovation in emergency medical technology, the Emergency Care business will continue passionately pursuing our mission of saving lives, lowering the cost of healthcare, and advancing the science of resuscitation while serving the public access AED, EMS, military, and hospital market segments.

As a proposal developer, you will collaborate with proposal managers, sales teams, and key stakeholders to develop customer-facing content for RFP (Request for Proposal), RFQ (Request for Quote), and RFI (Request for Information). Your responsibilities include drafting initial responses, finalizing proposals, conducting quality analysis on proposal KPIs, and maintaining a database of standard Q&A pairings. In summary, you play a crucial role in creating persuasive and compliant proposal documents, working with cross-functional teams, and managing the proposal lifecycle to help secure new business opportunities.

Your role:

  • Proposal Development and Strategy: Complete initial drafts of responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring content meets customer specifications. Develop and maintain opportunity development and proposal strategy. Accountable for proposal narrative and structure, working with subject-matter experts and vendors to create compelling content and ensure the delivery of winning proposals.

  • Communication, Integration, and Management: Identify key win-themes, address pain points, and refine strategies to highlight the company’s strengths. Edit and revise proposals based on feedback from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and sales teams, ensuring technical accuracy and strategic messaging. Lead the team through collaborative opportunity and proposal development, maintaining documents, schedule, running project calls, and managing internal authorizations to drive timely submissions.
