The THREE Property Claims Team Lead is a hybrid role responsible for handling a desk of first-party commercial property losses while overseeing the handling of claims assigned to the THREE Property Claims Team. The THREE Property Claims Team Lead will report to the Property Claims Supervisor.

Job Responsibilities

The THREE Property Claims Team lead will be responsible for, but not limited to:

· Investigating losses of low to moderate complexity and severity to determine indemnity and coverage.

· Retaining and managing outside vendors and experts as part of a quality claims investigation.

· Obtaining and reviewing evidence, reports, and records.

· Establishing damages and appropriate reserves.

· Processing payments.

· Providing superb customer service in a fast-paced environment.

· Taking statements from insureds and witnesses.

· Evaluating policies and contract language to identify coverage issues.

· Drafting detailed coverage and reservation of rights letters.

The THREE Property Claims Team Lead will assist with management-oriented tasks, including but not limited to:

· Reviewing authority requests and coverage correspondence.

· Completing internal quality audits of claim files.

· Assigning claims to the property claims team from the intake queue, when delegated.

· Providing strategic and technical assistance to team members as well as conducting training sessions, when delegated.

· Assisting with the development and implementation of claims processes and processes.

· Assisting with vendor management.

Qualifications

· Four-year college degree or higher.

· Adjuster licensing.

· AIC, CPCU, or similar designations are a plus.

· Basic math and computer literacy.

· At least 5 years of experience as a commercial property claims adjuster.

· Excellent written and verbal communication.

· The ability to investigate facts, analyze problems, and draw appropriate conclusions based on knowledge and logic.

· The ability to manage a team of people in a manner that creates a pleasant working environment and optimizes results.

· Self-motivated and able to work independently, while meeting assigned deadlines.

· Maintain strict confidentiality.

· Work with detail and accuracy.

· Maintain positive and professional demeanor when interacting with internal and external customers.

In accordance with pay transparency laws and regulations, the following good faith starting compensation is being provided. The starting compensation for this position is $90,000 to $110,000 per year. Final compensation will be based on candidate qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations permitted by law.
