Position Summary
**This role is 100% onsite in Falls Church, VA**
To provide project support coordination in planning, design, construction, initial outfitting, transition, and procurement for the AMLC facilities and infrastructure.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of health facility planning efforts in support of geographic combatant commands and the Army in the context of health service support, global health engagements, defense support of civil authorities.
- Support HFPA's program manager for the Army Medical Logisitics Command's facility portfolio. Provide assistance in the domains of planning, design, construction, initial outfitting, and transition for AMLC facilities and infrastructure, including the Army Prepositioned Stock program.
- Provide consultation and advice to HFPA/G9 leaders to help shape Army Medicine's built environment.
- Coordinate project information and task to enable HPFA/G9's support of Army Medicine with Army Service Component Commands, Major Commands, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Defense Health Agency, MEDCOM subordinate commands, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate, review, analyze, present, develop, and distribute data related to, but not limited to, facility requirements in contingency and enduring areas of operation, health service support activities, defense support of civil authority activities, and global health engagement activities.
- Attend facility planning and business process forums with Army Medicine equities, including ASCC/ACOM/DRU Surgeons Sync, Health Facility Coordinating Council, etc.
- Knowledge of DoD policies and procedures including contracting functions, NAVFAC QA process, and risk management.
- Provide and support facility planning and training for HFPA/G9 staff and health facility planners (70K9I) related to planning, design, construction, and procurement activities.
- Support services include, but not limited to, facility assessments, project package development, planning and design reviews and coordination, submittal reviews, request for information coordination, data collections for recurring reporting and presentation requirements, scheduling meetings; and coordinating and distributing staff products.
Qualifications and Experience
- Associate or Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in project support/coordination with health facility planning support activities or related field
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), SharePoint, and Microsoft Project products.
Technical Skills
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Project, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong inter-personal skills to work effectively with project stakeholders.
- Experienced with reviewing and interpreting basic engineering deliverables such as drawings, specifications, engineering calculations, RFIs, etc.
Physical Demands
- Sitting/Standing: This role is generally sedentary performing sitting work utilizing technological office equipment including a laptop, mouse, keyboard, computer monitors, telephones, and scanners, copiers, and fax machines.
- Walking: This role requires the ability to move about inside the office to access technological equipment, attend meetings required for the role.
- Stooping/Kneeling/Crouching/Crawling: This role may require stooping to reload printer trays with print paper.
- Using Hands/Fingers: This role constantly operates technological office equipment such as laptop, mouse, keyboard, computer monitors, telephones, and scanners, copiers, and fax machines.
- Talking/Hearing: This role requires constant communication with others in the organization to exchange information, review information, and make decisions about information.
- Seeing: This role requires the ability to see, view, and distinguish all aspects of construction.
