Overview
Position: Project Manager
Location: Remote- Hybrid if within 31 miles from Austin, TX or Tustin, CA- two days on-site.
Pay: $80K-100K/yr D.O.E.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled, driven, and motivated Project Manager to work directly with New American Funding’s iMO team and Servicing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to collaborate with talented individuals to achieve and develop new goals and ultimately reach new levels of success.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, well-versed in various project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, and Lean principles, and capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously. Key responsibilities include overseeing various Servicing projects and enhancements through planning and executing projects to meet business goals, creating project plans, tracking progress, communicating with stakeholders, and removing obstacles to ensure team success, all while maintaining a positive attitude.
This position is part of the Initiative Management Office (iMO) within NAF, the central hub for overseeing projects and programs aligned with the company’s strategic goals. The iMO, composed of Project/Program Management, Organizational Change Management, and Business Analysis, engages directly with high-level stakeholders to ensure effective initiative execution and adoption. iMO’s focus is primarily on strategic alignment that maximizes business benefits and stakeholder returns, driving the company towards its key objectives.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following in addition to routine daily duties. Other duties may be assigned.
- Managing the day-to-day operational aspects of Business, Operational and Technical projects.
- Being responsible for all aspects of a project from the design stage through to completion and handover to the Executives and Stakeholders.
- Writing up all project documentation.
- Driving project execution by utilizing Servicing and ICE MSP knowledge to ensure all tasks have been identified and completed
- Submitting progress reports to stakeholders and senior managers.
- Setting the standards and methodology to be used in a project.
- Creating a working environment that allows everyone to work to the best of their abilities.
- Taking responsibility of projects through their entire lifecycle.
- Properly scoping a project.
- Managing project budgets.
- Managing project resources.
- Communicating with stakeholders to clarify the desired outcome of a project.
- Ensuring that all relevant processes are followed on projects.
- Administering the allocation of jobs and budgets on a project.
- Managing project personnel within the scope of the role to achieve project objectives.
- Manage cross functional teams.
- Regularly review and analyses the project scope.
- Managing Stakeholder expectations.
- Identifying project risks.
- Negotiating with suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Driving cross-functional project teams.
- Agreeing project objectives.
- Considering Stakeholders interests.
- Ensuring that the highest quality standards are met.
Qualifications
Desired Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree, PMP and/or relevant Project Manager Certificate Desired; at least two years’ experience in this field of work is preferred.
At least 3+ years mortgage servicing experience while assisting on enhancements or projects on the ICE MSP platform
