What You Will Do:
π Agile Project Management:
Implement and manage the Scrum framework within the engineering team, ensuring agile practices are understood and followed.
Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
Remove impediments that obstruct the teamβs ability to achieve their goals and maintain momentum in project progress.
π Team Collaboration and Leadership:
Act as the point of contact for project communication, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and engaged with the project's progress and deliverables.
Foster a collaborative culture that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects align with company objectives and timelines.
π Process Optimization:
Monitor project performance through appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
Ensure project scopes, schedules, and resources are managed effectively.
Report and escalate to management as needed.
π Performance Metrics:
Track and analyze project performance and health metrics such as velocity and sprint success to guide future projects.
Provide leadership in quality assurance and ensure compliance with internal standards.
π Strategic Planning:
Assist in planning project strategies and roadmaps, aligning them with business goals.
Contribute to resource planning and budgeting for projects.
Who You Are:
Passionate about building something from the ground up and keen on making a significant impact.
Adaptive and proactive, with excellent problem-solving skills.
Familiar with agile methodologies, especially Scrum, with a certification in Scrum Master or similar being highly advantageous.
Effective communicator and leader, capable of motivating a team to achieve high performance.
Experience working in a tech or startup environment is preferred, with a strong understanding of software development processes.
Minimum of 3-5 years in project management, particularly in a software engineering context.
Note: As we are a small team, you will be required to be hands-on with project management tasks. Your flexibility and commitment to roll up your sleeves and dive into the work will be essential as we grow.
