JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Opportunity 

We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Project Manager. This individual will be part of the people, processes and technologies involved in aiding the Global Security program’s efforts to further the company’s strategic positioning with regards to Information Security. This role will be reporting directly to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and is responsible for managing and maturing daily SCRUM/AGILE activities and rolling up executive level updates.  This individual will be responsible to work with cross functional leaders and subject matter experts to ensure the successful delivery of projects and work efforts.

What you'll do...

  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies where applicable, sprint planning and refinement, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives

  • Work with the Product Owner and teams to refine and prioritize the backlog, ensuring alignment with Security program priorities.

  • Facilitate decision-making processes, helping teams to make informed decisions that support project delivery and business objectives

  • Be an advocate for and demonstrate fundamental agile values and principles like transparency, inspection and adaptation, collaboration, prioritization and team accountability

  • Ensure transparency and visibility of team progress through metrics, reporting, and communication with management and stakeholders.

Who you are...

  • 5-7+ years as a Project Manager within Security, Compliance or IT environments

  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment

  • Demonstrated leadership ability to coach and mentor the team to reach their highest potential

  • Track record of resolving impediments that exist outside of the Team environment

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to concisely express highly technical concepts to non-technical business partners

  • Strong influencing skills to achieve alignment up, down and across the organization

  • PMP Certified preferred

  • PgMP Certified preferred

  • PMI-ACP preferred

  • Certified SCRUM Master preferred

  • CISM, CISA, CISSP certifications a plus

  • Travel up to 10%

Thank you for your interest in Commvault. Total compensation for this role is market competitive, and within the below base salary range:

$68,000 - $195,500
