Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Project Manager is to support sales, operations, and/or production as assigned by the Region President.
Essential Functions:
Understand flooring, cabinet, and countertop materials and how those materials are measured and installed
Identify RFMS and system process issues and inefficiencies
Research, develop and implement all RFMS and system process improvements to correct system issues
Manage the implementation of the Company’s Business to Business system conversion, digitized warehouse receiving process, and E-Commerce system
Keep current on RFMS software and training updates
Provide training to employees on proper RFMS entry procedures to avoid issues that prevent timely job costing of orders
All other job duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
Four-year degree from college or technical school in business related field, or four plus years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bilingual experience preferred, but not required (English/Spanish)
Efficient at project management
Experience in construction; including flooring, cabinet, and countertops
Interpersonal skills to develop and maintain professional working relationships with builders, vendors, subordinates, and co-workers
Communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors in a professional and courteous manner
Proactively identify, analyze, address, and resolve problem areas, conflicts, and issues
Displays willingness to make decisions
Exhibits sound and accurate judgment, supports and explains reasoning for decisions, includes appropriate people in decision-making process, and makes timely decisions
Strong organizational skills to ensure adequate tracking systems are utilized to maintain and track all required information associated with the ordering and production process
Working knowledge of internet, inventory, project management, spreadsheet and word process software and order processing systems
Job Competencies
Basic technology skills, including MS Office Suite
Strong communication skills, including written communication
High level of organizational skills, time management skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment to consistently meet deadlines
Ability to take ownership of responsibilities and effectively handle interpersonal relationships with others
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Work performed in an office environment
Ability to sit for an extended period and operate shared office equipment and keyboards
Pay range: $65K - $75K
