REMOTE WORKER
Come join our talented team that, upon contract award, will deliver Application Operations, Maintenance, and Modernization services in support of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Office of Customer Relationship and Performance Management (OCRPM). HUD OCRPM oversees application functions and serves as a central point of contact for coordinating technical activities among various OCIO Divisions, including the Chief Information Officer (CIO), Investment Management, Enterprise Architecture (EA), Policy and e-Gov, IT Operations, and IT Security offices.
This position offers a flexible, primarily remote work arrangement with the expectation of traveling to the company headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland, a few times per year.
Summary of Major Job Functions:
- Ensures high overall quality of services and deliverables and strong team performance.
- Performs scope, schedule, cost, and quality variance analyses and develops corrective actions to maintain variances within established threshold levels.
- Manages operational support to provide services necessary to continue ongoing operations of existing systems.
- Supervises maintenance support to provide services, including application bug fixes, fixes to reports that are inaccurate, correcting business rules that contain bad logic, inconsistencies caused by regulatory changes to existing programs, and/or assistance in completion of Enterprise Architecture (EA) and infrastructure or software upgrades as identified by the client.
- Supports software modernization and enhancement efforts following standard SDLC/Agile processes to improve system functionality to meet mission objectives.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provides Project Management expertise
- Demonstrates effective leadership and stakeholder management
- Bachelor's Degree in related discipline or equivalent business administration or related field. Six (6) years of general experience is considered equivalent to a Bachelor's degree.
- At least five plus (5+) years of experience managing IT Modernization and Enhancement projects valued at $1 million or more per year, including developing project plans in Microsoft Project and following those project plans through to successful completion with minimal cost or schedule variance.
- 5+ years of experience in business process analysis/workflow improvement
- 5+ years of experience working with systems with business intelligence reporting tool capabilities
- 5+ years of experience working with waterfall/agile framework/methodologies
- 1+ year of experience working with financial systems
- 2+ years of experience with Salesforce, custom development (including Java), and cloud environments (including AWS and Azure).
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Certification(s) in software development and/or in Cloud operations
- Demonstrated teamwork skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- In order to meet the clearance requirements for this opportunity, candidates must be authorized to work in the US

Other Information
- The salary for this position is $125,000 - $142,000 annually
- This position offers a flexible, primarily remote work arrangement with the expectation of traveling to the company headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland, a few times per year.
