Job Description

Primary responsibility is to ensure transactions are processed successfully through the Elavon Network and adhere to Card Network rules and regulations. This includes inbound message control, switch message control and cost control through the transaction lifecycle as well as reporting data flow. The role reports to the Head of Card Network Management and requires a self-starter who can independently identify and resolve issues without supervision.

Key Activities & Responsibilities:

  • Work with product, development and client support teams to communicate Card Network rules and regulations. This may include preparation of documentation, impact analysis, and presentment to small or large groups.

  • Assist with translation of Card Network requirements into Elavon specific data management.

  • Consult with various teams on integration best practices, Card Network requirements and regulations.

  • Support research of production issues, assist with defining compliant solutions and creation of service requests to make the changes needed to meet card network requirements.

  • Participate in regular monthly meetings with various product/certification/integration teams for the purpose of sharing knowledge, reviewing Card Network announcements, provide guidance on how the rules and regulations should be applied.

  • This role will comprehend data mapping between systems, clarify and where necessary, correct the appropriate mapping logic, regardless of which system that involves.
