Description:

  • Provide technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environment, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation and implementation advice on moderately complex problems that require an appropriate level of knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation.
  • Apply principles, methods and knowledge of the functional area of capability to specific task order requirements, advanced mathematical principles and methods to exceptionally difficult and narrowly defined technical problems in engineering and other scientific applications to arrive at automated solutions.
  • Assist other senior consultants with analysis and evaluation and with the preparation of recommendations for system improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance efforts in the following specialties: information systems architecture, networking; telecommunications, automation; communications protocols, risk management/electronic analysis, software; lifecycle management, software development methodologies, and modeling and simulation.

Essential Functions & Duties:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project needs, support Confluence and Jira configurations, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Lead requirements gathering, definition, and tracking to ensure project alignment with business objectives.
  • Train end users on system features during rollouts and provide ongoing support.
  • Assess and refine Confluence and Jira project spaces to ensure consistency and usability.
  • Create clear and comprehensive documentation for processes, configurations, and project updates.
  • Communicate project insights, updates, and recommendations to cross-functional teams and management.
  • Identify best practices and solutions to enhance project workflows and knowledge sharing.
  • Report project plans, accomplishments, risks, and priorities to improve transparency.
  • Mentor team members to strengthen project management skills and support team growth.
  • Promote continuous improvement to increase productivity and foster collaboration.
  • Use independent judgment to identify problems and recommend solutions.

Skills, Qualifications and Certifications of Best Candidates:

  • 3+ years in project management or business analysis.
  • 3+ years with Jira and Confluence Skills
  • Proficiency in creating and managing Jira workflows, dashboards, and custom fields; strong experience with Confluence page organization and content management.
  • Ability to manage project timelines, calculate burndown rates, organize tasks, and support users in Confluence and Jira.
  • Project Management Skills:  Ability to manage project timelines, calculate burndown rates, organize tasks, and support users in Confluence and Jira.
  • Documentation Skills:  Strong ability to produce clear, organized, and detailed documentation for end users and stakeholders.
  • Interpersonal Skills:  Strong collaboration and communication skills across diverse teams.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Professional Experience: 5+ years in IT or project management.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to foster teamwork and collaboration.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.

Citizenship or Work Authorization Required: 

  • Ability to attain Federal Government Position of Trust
  • US Citizen
  • Must pass a background investigation

Preferred Education & Experience: Commensurate experience in IT and in new and related older technology that directly relates to the required area of expertise.

Compensation for roles at Synergy varies depending on a wide variety of factors including but not limited to the requirements of the role; education and certifications; knowledge, training, skills and abilities; level of experience; geographic location; and alignment with market data, law, and other business and organizational needs. As required by local law, the posted pay range represents the lowest to the highest pay that Synergy believes in good faith it might pay for this particular job, depending on the circumstances. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

A reasonable estimate of the current pay range is: $86,000 – $120,000.

Essential Job Function Physical Requirements: The physical requirements of this position are critical in evaluating the qualifications and abilities of an applicant or employee.
