The Division of the Arts’ Arts Residency Programs bring innovative and diverse artists to the University of Wisconsin–Madison for semester-long, academic year-long, and short-term residencies. Visiting artists bring their expertise to campus arts programs, open opportunities for interdisciplinary collaborations, expand students’ horizons, and engage with campus and Madison communities.Anticipated Start Date:

Must be a graduate studentKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Proficiency in data collection and organization
Experience with event planning and logistics
Familiarity with budget tracking and financial record-keeping
Excellent interpersonal skills for liaising with various stakeholders
Position Summary/Job Duties:
This position will handle administrative tasks, allowing the Program Coordinator to focus on strategic program development, partnership building, and funding initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage routine inquiries and correspondence related to the IARP
2. Coordinate schedules for program events, meetings, and artist
residencies.
3. Assist with event planning and logistics for residency activities.
4. Collect and organize data for program reporting and evaluation.
5. Maintain program records and documentation.
6. Support the development of promotional materials and
communications.
7. Assist with budget tracking and financial record-keeping.
8. Coordinate travel arrangements for visiting artists.
9. Liaise with campus departments and community partners as needed
the position.
Physical Demands:
Some lifting during events, e.g., unfolding chairs and tables.
