We are seeking a dedicated and people-focused Project Accounting Manager with extensive experience in revenue analysis, revenue recognition, and AEC billing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in using Deltek Vantagepoint and a proven track record of managing teams effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of project accountants, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment
• Analyze revenue data to identify trends, provide insights, and make recommendations for revenue enhancement
• Ensure compliance with revenue recognition policies and standards and assist in reviewing and forecasting project performance
• Manage AEC billing processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Utilize Deltek Vantagepoint for revenue management, billing, and reporting
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in revenue management
• Work closely with area leaders, the VP of Operations Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure revenue alignment and support business objectives
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations
• Effectively deliver complex project and revenue recognition matters to Project Managers, Finance staff, and leadership

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; higher education preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue analysis, revenue recognition, and AEC billing with 3 years of proven experience in managing and developing teams
• Proficiency in Deltek Vantagepoint
• Strong knowledge of revenue recognition standards (ASC 606)
• Certified Project Accounting Professional (CPAP) or Certified Management Accountant preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data
• Proven ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on team collaboration and stakeholder management
