Description

Come join our talented team that, upon contract award, will deliver Application Operations, Maintenance, and Modernization services in support of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Office of Customer Relationship and Performance Management (OCRPM). HUD OCRPM oversees application functions and serves as a central point of contact for coordinating technical activities among various OCIO Divisions, including the Chief Information Officer (CIO), Investment Management, Enterprise Architecture (EA), Policy and e-Gov, IT Operations, and IT Security offices.


This position offers a flexible, primarily remote work arrangement with the expectation of traveling to the company headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland, a few times per year.  


Summary of Major Job Functions:

  • Serves as the Government’s primary Point-of-Contact (POC) for the HUD OCIO Technical POC (TPOC)
  • Provides overall leadership and guidance for all Contractor personnel
  • Responsible for the quality and efficiency of the program, including both technical issues and business processes.
  • Assigns taskings to Contractor personnel
  • Supervises on-going technical efforts, and manages overall performance.
  • Has the authority to commit the Contractor’s organization and makes decisions for the Contractor’s organization in response to Government issues, concerns, and comments.
  • Proactively alerts the Government to potential contractual or programmatic issues

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provides Program Management expertise
  • Demonstrates effective leadership and stakeholder management
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline or equivalent business administration or related field. Six (6) years of general experience is considered equivalent to a Bachelor's degree.
  • At least five plus (5+) years of experience in managing competing requirements, multiple vendors, cross-functional technology, and infrastructure projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with agile methodology.
  • Knowledge in Enterprise Transformation efforts, through directing, managing, implementing, and executing business and technology related solutions and project teams that involve shared services, assessments, design, business case development, IT strategy, planning, performance management, IT effectiveness, benchmarking, operating, systems integration, cloud architecture and infrastructure management.
  • Ability to execute strategy and deliverables, as well as write, communicate, facilitate, and present cogently, to and/or for, all levels of industry audience, clients and internal staff and management, which includes the following: presentation slides, practice marketing materials, change management plans and/or project plans, workshops for various internal and external clients and audience levels, practice methodologies and tools, policies and procedures, whitepapers, and other standard business communications.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Certification(s) in software development and/or in Cloud operations
  • Demonstrated teamwork skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • In order to meet the clearance requirements for this opportunity, candidates must be authorized to work in the US
  • All candidates will be subject to a complete background check to include, but not limited to Criminal History, Education Verification, Professional Certification Verification, Verification of Previous Employment and Credit History.
  • Public Trust background investigations can take approximately four to eight weeks and requires fingerprinting.

Other Information

  • The salary for this position is $125,000 - $142,000 annually
  •  This position offers a flexible, primarily remote work arrangement with the expectation of traveling to the company headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland, a few times per year.
