About the role

As the Program Manager, you will be an individual contributor responsible for leading the development and maintenance of our defect-driven operational quality assurance programs. This role consists of designing, implementing and maintaining programs that ensure the highest quality standards across the operation. You will also be the driving force behind our continuous quality improvement insights, working closely with operational partners and data to derive insights that identify and aid in the long-term prevention of defects.

You will report to the Operations Manager, Total Quality Management.

If you live within commutable distance to our New York City office (in Hudson Square), our Tempe office (off the 101 at University Dr), or our Los Angeles office (in Marina Del Rey), you will be expected to come into the office at least two days each week. Otherwise, this is a remote / work-from-home role.

Pay Transparency:

The base pay for this role in the states of California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Washington is: $93,600 - $105,300 per year. The base pay for this role in all other locations is: $84,240 - $94,770 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar’s unlimited vacation program and annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of new quality programs through all phases (define to control) including  project plan development, stakeholder communications and change management
  • Proactively flag, manage escalations, track and resolve program risks and milestones
  • Support program retros to assess strengths and opportunities
  • Organize and support daily activities that align to total quality outcomes
  • Be a trusted business partner/quality SME 
  • Identify, prioritize and work with our partners to provide data driven optimization opportunities that support program objectives
  • Support the tracking and monitoring of controls
  • Partner with other departments and various stakeholders to ensure operational excellence 
  • Develop tools and standards to support team programs year over year based on program retros
  • Develop meeting materials, track and follow-up on action items, help manage all project plans
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt
  • 3+ years of strong project management or operational experience in the health insurance space. 
  • 3+ years experience in change management and process improvement
  • 3+ years stakeholder management experience

Bonus Points

  • PMP and/or Six Sigma Black Belt
  • TQMS or other Quality certifications

Pay Transparency:  Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
