Position SummaryThis position is responsible for recruiting individuals for a multi-center study on the genetics of alcoholism, conducting comprehensive psychiatric interviews, performing EEG brain scans, administering neuropsychological tests, and scheduling and delivering participant blood samples.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Recruits, interviews, screens and schedules subjects for study per protocol.
  • Documents all contacts with research participants and performs searches for contact information for participants who cannot be located.
  • Performs EEG and neuropsychological testing in accordance with study guidelines.
  • Completes and files all necessary paperwork, reviews interviews for accuracy and enters codes and scores tests.
  • Monitors and orders supplies necessary for study.
  • Schedules phlebotomy appointments and delivers study samples to lab for testing.
  • Prepares information packets for patients enrolled in study.

Salary Range$19.21 - $28.85 / Hourly

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
