Your role in our mission
Apply your skills to support Gainwell as we help clients deliver better health and human services outcomes.
- Strengthen our capabilities as you design, develop, install, test and document applications software — including server, client and web components
- Play a vital role in designing, documenting and delivering technical architecture solution elements
- Support coordination between application architects and developers to make sure design requirements are accurate and deliver the desired ROI for clients
- Define and develop project requirements, functional specifications and detailed application solution designs for clients
- Focus on the details as you develop technical documentation and test plans to support integration and deployment
- Advance key goals and objectives for Gainwell and our clients by working closely with software developers
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of applications development and programming using:
- Visual Studio and VSCode
- GIT and TFS source control applications
- basic PowerShell and Windows server knowledge
- batch scheduling configuration with IBM-IWS or other batch software
- Medicaid and Medicare technologies is preferred
- On-call and support experience preferred
- Knowledge of software design, development, operating systems and application development policies and procedures across the development life cycle with web service development knowledge preferred
- Strong written and oral communications skills with clients and senior leaders to move objectives forward
- A team player who works effectively across a diverse set of stakeholders to help achieve Gainwell’s goals
What you should expect in this role
- Fully remote opportunity with the option to work anywhere within the United States
- Opportunities to travel through your work (0-10%)
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs and travel as required
- Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation
The pay range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
