Steno is growing! We’re looking for a Production Manager to join our winning team, which is revolutionizing the court reporting industry every single day. We’re a diverse team from all over the country (and beyond) and we’re crazy about redefining the boundaries of an outdated industry.

In this role, you will help drive efficiency in process improvement and productivity for an experienced team of Production Assistants and Associates while striving for excellence in client services. We are seeking candidates located in the Central or Eastern Time regions (CT or ET) to align with our team's operations.

Who are you?

We’re looking for an experienced leader from the court reporting or legal services industry who knows the ins and outs of production management. You should also have management experience with production-focused teams and have had success while also helping the company grow. You’re comfortable wearing multiple hats, working not only with your team but also with other teams. You thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment, coaching employees and overseeing their development.

On a regular basis you will: 

• Oversee correspondence between court reporters and clients to ensure post-deposition tasks are completed at a high level
• Delegate and assign file management responsibilities in preparation for the transcript production process
• Analyze the efficiency and productivity of the team through meaningful goal setting, clearly articulated metrics and meaningful use of analytical skills
• Ensure the Production team is trained on handling of sensitive information and management of exhibits for cases
• Work cross functionally to develop and implement ideas that help improve the efficiency and workflow of the Production Team.
• Manage the Production Team against a set of KPIs, develop new KPIs as the business evolves, and motivate the team to deliver timely service for clients.
