Job Description

Salary Range:

The expected pay range for this position is $155,000 to $175,000 yearly.  The pay will vary based on skills, experience, and location.

Overview:

Join our remote/collaborative team as an experienced Product Transformation Manager in support of a federal client. In this role, you will play a critical part in developing, driving, and facilitating product transformation initiatives to ensure the successful adoption and implementation of the organization’s migration to product-based practices from project-based practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Development Strategy Development: Develop and refine strategies and plans for the creation and adoption of product lines and product management methodology.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Create tailored plans for individual projects to move to products.
  • Product Management Coaching: Work directly with Project Managers to coach them as they transform into Product Managers.
  • Training and Development: Work with Agile Coaches and Change Managers to design and implement training programs that equip stakeholders with the skills and knowledge required to adapt to the new product-based practices.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of Product initiatives.
  • Pilot Program: Develop a pilot program for Product Lines and associated Products
  • Roadmap Development: Create a roadmap(s) for projects to follow in their transformation from project to product.
  • Documentation: Develop the required documentation to support the Product transformation processes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of related experience in Product management
  • Understanding of Agile practices and techniques.
  • Strong understanding of Product management methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

Desired Skillset:

  • Product Management certification is a plus.
  • Experience with an Enterprise Agile implementations is a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical or Business field of study

Clearance Requirement:

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Active Public Trust clearance or have the ability to obtain one.
