Product Support Representative II - Ohio and Michigan Territory - Remote in Territory

Job Description:
We have an exciting position available for a successful candidate in our Ohio, Michigan, and portion of Indiana territory. This position is for you if you enjoy variety, travel and helping people use, repair, and maintain Aerial Work Platforms (AWP) and other lifting equipment. This covers the full scope of AWP material and lifting equipment manufactured by Terex and Genie.
This position provides a variety of technical operating and service advice to customers using diesel, gas, electric, and hand operated personnel and material lifting equipment manufactured by the company. This position is responsible for providing a proficient level of customer support and technical expertise to facilitate service advice, product support, and service training to internal and external customers.
Identifies and resolves customer concerns with Terex AWP products
Completes daily work orders including entering daily activities into our CRM system
Assists customers with their service training needs and information
Assists engineering as requested with the improvement and development of AWP products
Assists all customers with the safe and proper operation. Assist Terex Product Safety upon request
The territory will be Ohio, Michigan, and a portion of Indiana - a company vehicle is provided - candidate must live in Ohio or Michigan
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
3+ years of related experience (field service, operations management, product support, shop floormen, OEM support, technical customer support, or similar)
Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
Valid driver license with clean driving record
Willingness to travel - requires up to 70% travel - company vehicle provided
Must live in one of the territory states - Ohio or Michigan
Job knowledge and experience in the Aerial Work Platform industry, and/or related experience in field-based customer product support
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on knowledge of Genie product line is desirable
Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft tools
Knowledge of construction equipment
Great attitude and high energy
Excellent learning and training skills
Can work independently or in a team environment
Detail oriented with strong problem-solving skillset and ability to manage multiple tasks despite frequent interruptions
Strong orientation towards quality, safety, and continuous improvement
Proficient in the use of equipment, tools and technology needed to troubleshoot and repair AWP products (computers, hand tools, digital devices, etc.)
Proficient in and able to demonstrate the proper and safe operation of AWP control systems and products
The salary range for this position is $79,000 - $90,000. The salary range may be higher or lower depending on the applicant’s location. Pay is also based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
