Product Support Consultant 2

Product Support Consultant 2 is responsible for implementing and supporting the onboarding of channel sales data reporting partners. The Product Support Consultant 2 must have an understanding of relational databases, including knowledge of the SQL language, in order to perform database queries. The Product Support Consultant 2 will also be responsible for analyzing and implementing other data formats such as EDI, EDIFACT and Excel for creation and validation of data parsers. Job Responsibilities: *Analyze and implement data formats such as EDI, EDIFACT and Excel for creation and validation of data parsers *Maintain relationships with internal and external clients and assist with identifying and resolving issues and needs. *Complete weekly/daily functional tasks, track outputs and create and document processes. *Experience monitoring ticket queue and triaging/working on tickets *Collaborate with other members of the Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams to ensure timely, efficient, and quality service delivery to all customers. Effectively follow established escalation process to Tier 3. *Review and understand data flow for all customers. *Work with other teams and departments to ensure efficient and optimized data processing and flow. *Interface with the Operations, Engineering, QA, CA and Partner Onboarding teams. *Manage ad hoc requests from internal and external clients. Job Requirements: *Solid communication skills and ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers. *Intermediate Excel skills including formulas, linked worksheets, formatting, editing, troubleshooting. *Strong understanding of relational databases. *Ability to work off hours as required and change shifts as 24/7 coverage is needed. *Intermediate Microsoft 10, Outlook and Office Suite. *Intermediate SQL required. *Familiarity with a DBMS like Oracle or SQL Server a plus. *Knowledge of Salesforce.com and integration methods a plus. *Experience working with Business Objects a plus. *Experience working with databases or in data processing environment a plus. *Exposure and basic knowledge of a programming language required (Java a plus). *Exposure and basic knowledge of a scripting language a plus. *Exposure and basic knowledge of XML a plus. *Bachelor’s degree or equivalent a plus.
